Julie has been an Executive Recruiter for over 12 years. She has experience placing legal and corporate professionals with companies/firms throughout the SE and along the East Coast.
She started as a runner for a prestigious law firm in Knoxville, TN prompting her to enter the University of Memphis Law School. She joined a respected insurance defense firm where she remained for 3 years until joining Thomson Reuters (f/n/a West Group) as their Regional Sales Representative. She was a top-selling representative in the Midwest for website and Westlaw sales. She began her legal recruiting career within a large staffing agency in Charleston, SC in 2011.
Her placements consist of Attorneys, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Firm Administrators, Marketing Managers, Accounting and C-suite positions.
Julie is a member of the Charleston Association of Legal Assistants and is occasionally a speaker at their meetings regarding today’s employment issues.
After working for national recruiting and staffing companies for several years, Julie realized she wanted to return to the client-focused recruiting she previously enjoyed. Establishing a boutique recruiting firm has allowed her to return to this approach. Her relationships with her clients and candidates are what drives her every day to ensure the best fit for both.
Julie spends her time with her husband Brian, and two wonderful daughters, attending church, cooking, and traveling.
